Multi Utility Operatives

JOB SUMMARY

We have a great opportunity for a Utilities Multi-lay Team to join us at Doocey MU in the Sheffield area as we continue to grow from strength to strength. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for the installation of Gas, Water and Electrical mains and services. You may be asked to support the wider businesses long term civils contracts as and when required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out mains and service laying duties as required, ensuring all safety, environmental and technical policies are followed.
• Assist with the recording of works undertaken.
• Complete assigned tasks to the required timescale
• Always represent Doocey Group in a professional manner, to both our clients and members of the public

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• NCO Gas Mains and or Services
• NCO Water Mains and or Services
• SHEA Gas, Water and Power
• NRSWA Accreditation
• NPORS or CPCS Excavator and Dumper
• Water Hygiene
• Previous experience within a similar role
• Excellent team-working skills
• Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Live in Sheffield or the surrounding areas.

The following are desirable requirements:

Abrasive Wheels, First Aid, Cat and Genny, Manual Handling, Vehicle Banksman
