Doocey Group 11th Charity Golf Day 2023 Raises £50k

Doocey Group were proud to host the 11th Annual Charity Golf Day at Great Barr Golf Club. 25 teams of four entered this popular day. Starting at 8am and going on until the early hours, the day was a roaring success resulting in a grand total of over £50,000 being raised for our chosen charity the Birmingham Hospice. People’s generosity this year has again exceeded our expectations.

All proceeds will go towards the refurbishment of half the rooms at the Erdington site. Sadly, the rooms sited in the original Victorian building need extensive refurbishment. The cash raised will help the Hospice provide people with the privacy, dignity comfort and relaxation they deserve. Whilst patient rooms in other parts of the hospice are more modern, they are also in need of redecorating to refresh their appearance. The Hospice’s vision is to create a future where everyone with a life-limiting illness can have the best experience of living.
