NEC WPD Power Upgrade

Doocey Group were awarded the National Exhibition Centre power upgrade contract from Western Power Distribution. The installation of a new 2 kilometre 11KV cable circuit provided an essential upgrade to the NEC supply. Delivery of this project required close collaboration with NEC management, ensuring the project tasks did not create any disruption to the exhibition centre, surrounding hotels or the events being held within the NEC itself.

Doocey Group were also awarded the traffic management on this project, which was key to controlling and coordinating the project effectively. A post contract meeting was held between Doocey Group and the NEC management team where our traffic management scheme was presented, to ensure it met customer requirements. Doocey Group continually reviewed the upcoming NEC events during the project which were taken into consideration within the project programme.

Doocey Traffic Management rolled out the scheme in this busy environment with zero complaints. The project was delivered on time with no disruptions. The NEC team complimented Doocey Group on our works and management of the project expressing that they would have no hesitation in offering us future work.
