Doocey Apprentice Appears on Children in Need

It was great to see one of our new apprentices Sullivan appear on the BBC’s One Show recently where the Children in need Surprise Squad turned up to create a memorial garden for his brother Fletcher, who unexpectedly passed away 2 years ago.

The charity is called Parks for Play – it’s a special needs youth provision in Selly Oak where Sullivan’s brother Kennedy, twin brother to Fletcher attended. They created a memorial garden for him called Fletcher’s Garden. The Surprise Squad from Children in Need designed and created the garden.

The Surprise Squad is made up of five inspirational young people who have benefitted from BBC Children in Need funding, the Surprise Squad members are lending a hand as part of a series of challenges to give back to others being supported by BBC Children in Need.
